![]() ![]() The trap area needs more maps or variations of map. Even reducing dynamite damage to 1 would be something. Either make dynamite dashable, make him spawn less, rework the fight completely or have the dynamite despawn instantly on killing the specter (the same way corrupted tiles disappear when you down the last boss). I would suggest giving Dynamite Specter a hard look. In that last run with 3 mages, one turn he spawn dynamites twice, which was instant game over as he surrounded 3 of my units instantly. If your team isn't stockpiled on teleport/position swap, it's almost impossible to not take damage against Dynamite Specter. It is way too easy for the AI to completely surround one or two units with a mix of 2-3 dynamites + 1 or 2 other units straight from the start before you can even play. It is the only element of the game I feel is utterly unfair, unbalanced and truly random. I won with 2 diverse parties, won with only marksmen and my only loss was with 3 mages BUT I'm fairly certain I would have won except for Dynamite Specter.ĭynamite Specter is my only real gripe with the game. I feel like the game is overall very well balanced, it really nailed the puzzle aspect and aside from one thing (I'll come back to it), it has never felt unfair or insurmountable. Aside that I enjoy fantasy over Sci-Fi more, it has enough differences, small and big to set it apart (like being able to choose my starting crew instead of having a package, not having to protect things in almost every map etc) I'll say it first, I love the game! I think it is a very good iteration on Into the Breach and I prefer it over ITB. ![]()
